Making a Museum with Ralph E.W. Earl at this homeschool event.
Date/Time
May 12 @ 7:30 pm - 10:00 pm
Cost: $23.00
Venue: TPAC, Nashville
Organizer: Jennifer Chavez
Details:
As a girl, Violet was struck by a wayward axe blade when her father was chopping wood, leaving her with a visible scar across her face. Now, she’s traveling across the Deep South in 1964 towards a miracle – the healing touch of a TV evangelist who will make her beautiful. Although she may not succeed in having the scar on her face healed, Violet may be able to repair those scars that are lying deeper than her skin. On the way, she meets a young soldier whose love for her reaches far past her physical “imperfections.” With a sweeping score by Jeanine Tesori (Thoroughly Modern Mille, Shrek the Musical), Violet is a powerhouse piece of theatre about healing and finding the beauty within.
This performance will be taking place in the Johnson Theatre at TPAC. All seats are located primarily in the center section. Tickets are $23.00 each regardless of age. Our group has been able to take advantage of student/group pricing which allots us a significant price break versus purchasing individually through the box office. This production is scheduled to begin at 7:30pm.
Tickets must be picked up from Will Call/Box Office with a photo I.D. no later than 30 minutes before the show starts. This is a special event which means we do not meet as a group. However, our group seats will be located in close proximity to one another. Each family that purchases tickets will indeed have seats next to each other. If there are multiple families going together it is important that you notify Jennifer that you want tickets next to each other.
Please note: Do your own research before determining if this show is suitable for your kids, each family is different.
RSVP and payment for guaranteed seats are due by 5 pm on March 15, 2023, unless they sell out sooner.
Tickets may be able to be secured after the due date only if seats are still available. Contact Jennifer after the due date so she can check directly with the venue. This trip requires a minimum in order to proceed.
